Live Cam Network is a small Canadian based webcam studio that provides high definition cam shows to their audience. They are a small outfit that prides itself on eccentric cam hosts and a community feel. They thrive on the belief that it's quality, not quantity.

Performer Information

Live Cam Network is unlike most cam sites we review here at Sex Cams 101. Most of their live video comes directly from their Canadian studio, meaning you won't find many girls working from home. There are just over 125 cam hosts working for the site (almost all from Canada or the United States), and they rotate shifts throughout the day and night. You will find anywhere from 1 to 5 girls live during working hours (which runs from 9am to 2am EST). There is a handy schedule on the homepage that designates upcoming performances.

The performers at LCN are a major step up from what you'd find from an amateur cam site. These young girls are mainly professionals and know how to put on a show. They will flirt, strip, and perform like an expert. They have extra wardrobes and sex toys available upon request. They are even able to lure in some major adult celebrities like Penthouse Pets Shay Laren and Martina Warren from time to time. It did seem at times that chatroom regulars got the bulk of the attention from the performers. It was hard as a new guy to fit in there, and we were even kicked out of a couple free chats for no reason.

The actual shows are quite impressive. The ones shot in their studios are in high definition and use the best video equipment on the market. There really isn't a site that can match their speed and clarity. The cam window is large and puts every other cam site to shame.

For all that Live Cam Network has going for them in performer quality and technical might, they just don't have enough performers on the site. Only having one or two options can be frustrating. There are even times when no one is available. You really have to find the girls you like and keep track of their schedules to make things worthwhile.

Similar to most cam sites, the video chats are broken into 3 separate areas. A free teaser chat is available that allows registered users to chat with the performer in a non-nude setting. Group nude chat is just what it sounds like, a totally nude show where anything goes. The word "group" is the key here as there will be other horny members joining you for this fun. For a small site, Live Cam Network has some loyal fans. It seems the community aspect really rubs off well on some members. Outside of that though, Live Cam Network doesn't offer much else in terms of features. They have a nice archive of pictures and videos, but place it behind the confines of their $24.95/month members area. This special members area package also gives discounts to shows, but with so few models performing, we're not really sure if it's worth it. The focus of the site seems to be placed on the quality of their performers and superior technology, not bells and whistles.

Price Information

It is free to create an account at Live Cam Network. This account will allow you to chat for free with some of the ladies, although they won't let you freeload for long. The site works on prepaid credits which can be purchased in denominations of $20. There are small discounts for purchasing $80 or $100 in credits.

Pricing varies depending on the gal. On average group nude chats ran between $3 and $4 a minute. VIP chats were about $1 more per minute. These prices are higher than most amateur cam sites, though you are receiving much better show quality.

Ease Of Use

Despite its small stature, Live Cam Network can be pure hell to navigate. The site continuously logged us out after clicking through a couple pages. We would then have to hit the login button again that would take us back to their welcome screen. There is no account management page to change your e-mail address or update your password.

Advertisements for other sites are thrown everywhere and give us the impression that they'd rather see you head elsewhere. The one bright spot is the fact that the actual shows are easy navigate to and use once inside. Java is required to receive all the benefits of the site.

Final Thoughts

While Live Cam Network has some sassy performers that are a ton of fun to play with; there just aren't enough of them. The site is often understaffed or void of any live cam girls. There are not a lot of features to play with, and the costs aren't exactly set for those on a budget. Like most cam sites though, LCN is free to browse around and we recommend everyone take a peek and see if they fall head over heels for someone. But if you're looking for an all-around cam site that can provide you with a ton of options at any hour of the day, this site isn't built for you.
