Live Jasmin Enters the World of 3-D

I think we all can remember our first 3-D experience. Whether it be a crappy Disney movie or TV show looking to cash in during sweeps week, 3-D never seemed to be used for anything good. That’s changed thanks to the folks at Live Jasmin (LiveJasmin.com who have now added 3-D cams to their arsenal.

Select performers will be broadcasting using a 3-D camera feed at 640×480 resolution. Using any pair of anaglyph glasses (red and blue lenses), you’ll be able to have one of the most unique online cam experiences on the web today. Currently there are only a handful of performers online at any given time using a 3-D feed.

If you are like us, you probably don’t have a pair of glasses sitting around. Fret not, Live Jasmin gives numerous sites on the web where you can acquire these lenses for cheap or even free. You can find a list of these on their 3-D page. We have not tested out any at the moment, but do want to point out a site that is offering free 3-D glasses provided you include a self-addressed stamped envelope. You will want to make sure to request the anaglypgh 3D glasses.
