• Check out all your options. There are a lot of good sex cam sites out there that offer free membership. Sign up for a few and look around till you find some girls that you like. Everyone has their own tastes.
• Close out unnecessary programs. Speed is a key factor with cams and the more crap your computer and connection are using, the choppier your show will be.
• Don't make your nickname something that is recognizable (ie: JohnTaylor). Use a nickname that no one will know you by in the chats.
• Take advantage of the free teaser chat. This is a great way to see what the cam setup, quality, and the girl is like before stepping into private. You can also ask her what she is willing/not willing to do in private so you won't be disappointed. If there is anything such as toys that will be involved, make sure she has them ready before you start paying by the minute.
• Buy enough minutes in advance. This is crucial before you step into a private chat. Say you have 7 minutes of time in your account and the show runs a little longer than you expected. BAM! You're shut off mid-jerk. That is a shitty feeling, don't let it happen to you.

• Don't be rude. You'll get much more special attention by being nice and showing respect to the ladies in the free chat. There are a lot of freeloaders and jerks who come their way all day, so they know how to treat the respectful ones.
• Utilize options like favorites to keep tabs on your favorite girls. This is especially important in the large cam sites with tons of girls.
• Treat this like a strip club. The girls know how to treat the spenders right and will go out of their way to make you happy. Be gracious, nice, and you'll find that you'll have a much better time.
• Don't let the girl stall. If the girl is being deliberately slow, let her know that you will cancel the show. Just as you should respect them, they should respect your time and money.

• Check out the photo galleries before a show. Don't be disappointed when the clothes come off of your private cam choice. Know what she has to work with beforehand.
• Look at the ratings. Most cam sites offer a form of user ratings on each girl (typically in their bio page). This will give you a good idea on how well they perform in private. Make sure to return the favor and rate the girls that you saw perform.
• Look out for the group chats. Some girls will charge only a little bit less for a group nude chat. Sometimes spending that extra couple bucks for a private show is much better.
• Don't be shy! The beauty of cam shows is that you can live out some of your fantasies that you may otherwise be too shy to ask for in the outside world. These girls have heard it all, so don't be ashamed to ask them whether they do something or not. Get the most out of your time and money.
