Our Review: Live Cam Network (livecamnetwork.com) is a bit different than most of the adult cam sites you’ll see on Sex Cams 101. First, it’s predominately studio based meaning almost all the girls are not working from home, but instead a studio that is setup for the cam performances. This offers both advantages and disadvantages that we hope to lay out for you.
The biggest advantage is that the girls are professionals. They’ve worked in front of the camera many times and are experts in sex shows. If you’re tired of the amateurs on other cam networks, Live Cam Network is a fantastic alternative. Studio based sex shows also provide a professional setup with quality backdrops and perfect camera angles. You won’t waste your money watching the girls fiddle around with their cams trying to get that angle that you want. You’ll also be happy that they use top of the line hardware and the cams are smooth and as good as you can get. The biggest disadvantage is that you won’t have that girl next door feel you might get from others if you are into that.
Live Cam Network has over 100 models in their system and provides an easy to read schedule of their upcoming performances. Typically we found between 5-10 girls on at any given time, a few with HD quality cameras. The girls were predominately North American based with a high volume of those sweet Canadian girls. Some of the girls have that Suicide Girl look to them and if you’re into that style, you’ll love LiveCamNetwork.
Pricing is fairly straightforward. It is free to register for an account. With your free account, you’ll be able to go into the free chat with the girls and enjoy a fairly laid back, casual environment. You can get an idea for what the girls do, look like, and even hear their voice. From there, you’ll have the option of taking them into a private 1-on-1 chat which costs $4.99/minute. There is also an option to join group xxx chats with others for $3.99. That same chat also has an option for “spy” which is $3.49/minute but has chat disabled (for those who don’t care to have any conversation). The pricing is in line with what you’d expect from a studio based cam site.
The biggest selling point is the girls who are running on HD (high definition) cams. The widescreen format looks fabulous on most computers. You’ll be able to spot the girls with HD ready shows by the HD in front of their name. The video streamed as if you were watching a TV and there was no choppiness whatsoever. It is at the top of the list in terms of speed. You will need a good connection though to get the full benefit of their cam shows. One issue we ran into was not being able to vide the shows in Firefox. Hopefully this is something that can be corrected soon for us anti-IE folks.
Overall, Live Cam Network is a newer player in the cam space and looks to be focusing on building out the technology and improving their network for their members. The high-definition sex cam shows is clearly the wave of the future and they look to be at the forefront. If you are looking for a site with hundreds of girls to choose from, you probably won’t like Live Cam Network. It’s focus is on those looking for high quality studio based performances.
